Our drink of the week is called the Parrot Cocktail. It is made with Scorpion Mezcal, a brand of Mezcal which has a Scorpion right inside the bottle. Most brands of Mezcal have caterpillars (although most people think it's a worm) in them; but this one is for the drinker with an appetite for something WILD (coz we're celebrating the feast of fabulous wild men today).You can order Scoprion Mezcals at your favorite Liquor store. If you are in Davao, you should know that the Brewery is the only place you can get it in. Plus, it is sooo much cheaper than in other places. I swear. Partyphile Promise! haha
Anyway, here is the recipe for the Parrot Cocktail:
In a rocks glass put three ice cubes, a shot of Scorpion Mezcal and a slice of Grapefruit or Pomelo Soda. Garnish with an orange slice.

FYI: mezcal shouldn't have a worm, scorpion, or any other critter inside. These are gimmicks to cover the flavour of bad mezcals. Most quality mezcals won't have them. Wanted to share. Good recipe though!
